Mother's Day

All mothers know that this is an important day where we should be pampered and cosseted, so why not visit Goltho Gardens where you can wander and wonder at the beauty of the spring daffodils and tulips, and watch as the garden springs into life. Afterwards (or before) you can have lunch or some afternoon tea and homemade cakes in our friendly cosy teashop. And to make the day complete all mothers get a small gift to take home.
Charity Open Day - National Garden Scheme

We’ve been proud to support the work of the National Garden Scheme for over seven years – since our gardens first opened to the public. Every year NGS gardens across England and Wales welcome over half a million visitors and few people realise that through this, the NGS raises £2 million for nursing, caring and gardening charities. Visit www.ngs.org.uk to find out more about the work of the NGS. Today we’ll be donating all entrance money to the NGS so please come along and support a great cause.
Photography course with Fosters of Horncastle

Peter Foster says "Goltho Gardens is a beautiful, horticultural experience for garden lovers - but that is not why I chose this location as the base for one of our photography courses. It gives lots of opportunities to show people how to successfully use their camera. For instance , how lenses can be used to change the way of looking at an image or how to create different moods by understanding the way light falls. There are hundreds of other ways of just 'seeing' what to look for and improving your photography under the guidance of a professional photographer. Photography is an Art Form rather than an exercise in technicalities and I have been teaching people how to take pictures for over twenty years. At Goltho Gardens you get a great opportunity to learn how to be a great photographer in beautiful surroundings". Craft Fair

At Goltho Gardens we are always keen to promote local produce and so what better than an afternoon browsing crafts stalls from local suppliers. We have lots of different stall organised and we will so why not come along and join in the fun. The Fair takes place from 11am until 3pm and is in our big barn so the weather is no problem! If anyone is interested in a having a stall please contact us for details.
Afternoon Tea in aid of Help4Hero's Charity

This year we are making a change to our annual Midsummer Help4Hero’s evening, as it has fallen on a Sunday we thought an afternoon tea with some of Lesley scrummy goodies and finishing with strawberries and champagne would be something a little different. We are putting the finishing touches to the details so look for further details closer to the time. Do try and come along and support this excellent cause.
